New Forest Homecare Ltd have taken active measures to provide services to our clients in a safe manner during this time. Our staff are fully trained and have appropriate PPE to carry out their duties. We continue to provide care and support within the government guidelines.
How do I know how much care I need?
Someone from our management team will come out to meet you in your own home to complete an assessment prior to care commencement. They will discuss your needs and put together a program of care with you. We will work together to formulate a suitable tailored Care Plan that promotes independent living, that also reflects your wishes and lifestyle.
Is there funding available for care?
Yes. Depending on your individual circumstances you can approach your local authority to complete a financial assessment. If you meet their criteria, they may be able to assist you with funding some or all of your care.
Can I choose my carers?
We do our utmost to provide you with carers that you have a positive connection with, although we do also understand that not everyone gels. You do have a say in the carers that are sent to you, however, at times, this may affect our ability to provide your care/service at your desired time
Are the staff trained?
All our staff complete an Induction program and shadow experienced members of staff before working on their own. We regularly support our staff out on the patch and provide regular training and updates. We also source bespoke training to our staff regarding a specific condition/illness when we have an individual with particular needs.
Are the staff DBS checked?
Yes, all our staff are DBS checked prior to starting with us. We also ensure we have a complete work history and references before our staff begin with us.
